Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father left her family as she was barely a teenager. When she was 14 Brink was pregnant, and she had to quit high school. She relocating to a house after the birth of Davion and then began work in an laundry. Brink started her own group Pulse that was located on the streets of Albany New York. They played mostly local events for groups like Coal Chamber and Sevendust. They broke up afterward. At the age of 25 she moved from California in the state of California to Los Angeles looking for her biggest break. Brink performed in coffee shops, bars and in stores as she searched for the right band. In the years following, Chris Howorth, a member of the current band that she's currently in, joined her at an interview. Howorth declined her application because she's a girl. Howorth quickly changed his mind and apologized after listening to her singing. They started the Dying Stars band with Jeff Fabb, a drummer. Blake Bunzel (guitarist) and Josh Newell (bassist) joined the band later. In This Moment changed their name following just two shows.
